Thank you to everyone who
joined us for the Kick Off Luau on Saturday, May
30th! What a party! We hope everyone enjoyed the
afternoon and left inspired to make this the best
sailing season possible! Thank you again to the
Capital Yacht Club for being our wonderful hosts, to
Phillips Seafood for providing delicious food and to
the Seacocks for entertaining us for hours with great
music!

Saturday August 15th - The 2nd Annual
Jr. Leukemia Cup Regatta in partnership with the
Summer Sailing School at the Washington Sailing
Marina.Sunday August 30th - The
3rd Annual Power Boat Poker Run. Visit 5 card stops
along the Potomac and finish at the Old Dominion Boat
Club for a celebration BBQ and awards!
Friday September 11th & Saturday September
12th - The 16th Annual Leukemia Cup
Regatta. Races for all classes & opportunities to
watch from Spectator Boats! Join us at the Washington
Sailing Marina! More information on all

Participate in any of these events by
registering online today! Participants have all
summer to raise funds to support the mission of The
Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and win some
great prizes too! Once your registration has been
received you will get a personal online fundraising
website as well as other tools and resources to help
you with your fundraising goal. To participate in the
Leukemia Cup there is a fundraising minimum of
$100. Raise this (easy!) minimum by August 17, 2009
and your boat's name will be featured on the front of
this year's Leukemia Cup t-shirt!
