CARE & USE OF OLD 13-FT WHALER

Starting

• Check fuel quantity in the attached tank.  If you have to refuel the Whaler, remember to add oil in a 50:1 mixture.
• Make sure red clip is attached to kill switch.
• Pump the black bulb until full of fuel.
• Twist the throttle open to half to full throttle position.
• Pull choke out.
• Pull once, pull twice.
• If the engine sputters very quickly push choke off and twist the throttle.
• If the engine dies, leave choke off and pull again  (it is easy to use too much choke.)
