Saturday started out with calm
winds and overcast skies, and the Postponement flag went up at the
dock at 10:30, so we socialized and waited for the wind to develop
-- which it did at 11:45 AM. So at Noon we departed the docks
and headed to the race course in a nice 8 - 10 MPH southerly breeze.
Nabeel and our excellent Lightning-provided RC set up an Olympic
course and got in 3 great races before it was time to come in.
Our Saturday post-race BBQ, with food provided by Pat McGee, and
beer provided by Scott Snyder, was the perfect end to a perfect
sailing day.
Wind Chart 5/29/10:

Sunday started off as planned,
with RC departing the dock at 10:15 AM in northerly 5 - 10 MPH
breezes that unfortunately turned light and variable as the day went
on. RC got in two races before giving up on the day at 3 PM,
before the end of the second race.
