PRSA Laser Fleet Presents...
District 11 Grand Prix Series #1
On the infamous Potomac River, with Washington, DC as our backdrop, we invite you to join us at our Nation's Capital for a weekend of fun and sailing! Stay at any one of several hotels within 3 miles of the marina. Sail in the first of a disctrict wide series of regattas. Tour the new monuments, or shop in historical Old Town. There's tons to do for sailors and their families in DC.
The Washington Sailing Marina is located 1 mile South of the National (Ronald Regan) Airport in Northern VA, and boasts a grand view of the National Monument from a warm cafe seated in a cove off the river.
The marina has recently been repaved, making the floating docks more accessible and the 2 ramps easily managed with a dolly or trailer. Facilities include cafe, heated men and woman's restrooms, 1 men, 1 woman's shower near the cafe, marina store, parking and overnight storage of your boat. Unfortunately, camping is NOT allowed.
A few of our fleet members have offered to put up some sailors for a
nominal fee of courteousness and cleanliness. Space is limited, but we
will try to accommodate as many as we can. Please email
laser_webmaster@potomacriversailing.org for more information.
