Note: In race 2, the PRO signaled a general recall but none of the Cats returned.  That race is not included.

Notes: David Thompson of the Lightning Fleet was the PRO.  He says, "Thanks much to the entire Lightning Fleet, where, over the course of 4 starts, no one was close to being OCS, making my job as line sighter/OCS caller easy.  Bobby [Astrove] was a great help, getting up to the race course early to scout out the wind and set the windward mark, then keeping track of wind shifts and the need to move the marks over the course of the day.  Cathy Bleakly drove the Bayliner, easing my stress level considerably.  Joe Kimak and Bryan were great on the Crash Boat, and got to do more than just hang around and watch.  Catherine, Barb [Thompson], and Cathy made a great 3-some on the RC boat.  Catherine did homework by reading the Guidelines to Running RC from the PRSA website, and was really up on the flags."

It was a perfect sailing day.  Winds were from the north at 10 to 18 mph.  The air was 70 degrees or so and the sky was clear blue.  The RC set up nice long windward-leeward legs and got off 4 twice around races.  Afterwards, most people could feel the weariness in their bones as they eagerly watched the hot dogs and sausages cooking.
