Notes:  8 to 18 mph winds were from the northeast.  Because of the threat of thunderstorms and the very high water, the RC decided to set up the race course off of the powerplant.  They set up the longest possible course with the windward mark just out of the channel and the leeward mark in the lagoon by the powerplant -- still very short.  The courses were 3 triangles and a sausage.  They fired off the races very quickly and we were done by 1:30.   Boats were long off the water and put away when the first grumble of thunder was heard at 3:30.  The rains hit at 3:45.
